The cameras have a Status LED that indicates the hardware and operational status of the camera. The LED indicates the following behavior:
Flashing orange - the camera is initializing. This happens when a camera is first connected to a computer.
Flashing green - the camera is performing a lengthy operation or is streaming video data.
Solid green - the camera is ready for operation.
Flashing red - the camera has issued a warning on the latest command received. (You will see this more often on USB cameras when you receive frame loss on the BUS)
Solid red - the camera has experienced an unrecoverable error. Please contact Technical Support if this happens.
