In some circumstances, Pixelink Capture OEM won't display any sliders. This will happen if other software is uninstalled, and, in the process, unregisters some key files. If the sliders are not visible, the fix is to do the following:
Select Start | Run from the Windows Start Menu.
Enter "regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx" in the dialog box that appears and click OK.
