In certain instances a variety of Firewire (IEEE 1394) cards will not be able to read the camera. The problem can be solved by installing an IEEE 1394 card that Pixelink recommends.
Similar problems can also be encountered in other PC's and operating system where a different IEEE 1394 card is being used.
