The Lookup table (LUT) translates each pixel value from the camera through a programmable user-defined transfer function. The graph provided beside the Lookup table is the programmable transfer function. An user will be able to change the pixel values in the Lookup Table by changing the shape of this LUT graph.

Note: The checkbox beside Enable has to be checked in order to activate the Lookup table.


The first column in the lookup table represents the pixel counts from 0 to 1023. A 10-bit camera will represent pixel counts from 0 to 1023. A 12-bit camera will represent pixel count from 0 to 4095. The lookup table automatically gets updated with the pixel values as the camera gets connected to the system.


The second column represents the pixel value where 0 means black and 1023 means white.


The LUT curve can be used to convert all Pixel values from the camera to a value of 0. So in the Lookup table pixels 0 to 1023 will all have a value of 0. In this case the image preview will be black since all pixels from the camera has been defined with a value of 0.

Similarly, a LUT curve can also define all pixels from the camera with a value of 1023. In this case image preview will be white.

Adding points to the LUT graph:


The user has the ability to add more points to the LUT curve. In order to add a point, the user can drag new points from the two ends of the curve.

Resetting the LUT curve:


In order to reset the settings on your curve, simply Right click on the graph and press Reset. This will reset the curve to a straight line.
