For problems with USB 3.0 connectivity and/or performance we suggest the following:

1. Test the camera with a different USB 3 cable, as performance issues can be impacted by the USB cable itself. This is particularly true if the cable is older, or from an "off-brand".

2. Verify that the camera is connected to a USB 3 port, and not a USB 2 port. USB 3 ports will often be blue, or have a Super Speed (SS) marking beside the port. 

3. Test the camera with different USB 3 ports on the system.

4. If the camera is connected through an external USB hub, try connecting the camera directly to the computer. This can help identify if the hub is impacting the connection.

5. Update to the latest drivers for your USB 3.0 chipset.

6. In rare cases, it may be helpful to perform a BIOS update on your computer.

7. For throughput issues Pixelink recommends the following chipsets on the host side, in order to achieve the best performance:

  a. Any Intel based USB 3.0 chipset (Skylake, Haswell, Ivy Bridge, etc). And connect the camera to a USB port wired directly to your motherboard.
