Cannot Open Shared Object File for captureOEM

If captureOEM cannot start and it returns the following error

./captureOEM: error while loading shared libraries: libPxLApi.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

Make sure that you have configured your system so that the runtimes can find the Pixelink shared objects as per step 5 in the INSTALL.INSTRUCTIONS.txt file.
Restart your system after modifying users ~/.bashrc file.
Run captureOEM.
